Aghori Sunrise I
At 3 AM, myself and another photographer clambered onto a river-boat moored at the Ashi Ghat in Varanasi. With us was an aghori woman, beautiful and intimidating. The Aghori Cult is a unique sect of Hinduism, one that is shrouded in darkness and secrecy. They practice in a unique way - the consumption of human flesh - in order to bring themselves closer to Shiva. This woman carried herself with a unique energy, one that I have never seen before.
